Hidden away in the quiet village of Stretton-on-Fosse on the Gloucestershire-Warwickshire border, the award-winning Plough Inn is quaint and quirky, dating back to the 17th Century and boasting a wealth of traditional character with its open inglenook fireplace, low exposed beams and flagstone floor. It is very much a proper traditional English pub that you don’t tend to find anymore offering a delicious menu of lunches, evenings meals and a Traditional Sunday Roast.
The Plough Inn is an independent, family run public house near Moreton-in-Marsh, Shipston-on-Stour and Chipping Campden. It's owners Graham and Lisa Nice pride themselves on a warm and friendly welcome, their motto is ‘enter as strangers, leave as friends’. Community spirit is high with regular fundraising activities for local causes, it’s a welcoming place that you would feel comfortable going into on your own. Many villagers refer to the Plough Inn as the heart and soul of the village where they regularly meet for a chat

We have taken time in sourcing locally produced products and serve a fabulous selection across our four handpumps of frequently changing cask ales, including those produced by the North Cotswold Brewery just 1-mile away.
Although the pub itself is not large enough inside to cater for dogs, there is a heated dining Pavilion outside for those that may be passing with their furry friend, providing them with dog treats and water bowls.
The village is quiet, giving the ideal location to take a break from the working day with a selection of light lunches and Free WiFi for those that need it.
We are a family friendly pub, with children's offerings on our menus.
We're sure you won't be disappointed, call to book your table today on 01608 661053.
